Prime minister Modi starts off today to a four nation tour to boost India's economic relations with the nations like Germany,Spain,France and Russia.

Over the next six days,starts off to Germany,where he will meet the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and call on German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

'Germany is a valuable partner in India's development initiatives and German competencies fit well with his vision for India's transformation'he said.

Germany is our India's most important trade partner in Europe.

Trade worth was about $17.42 billion in 2016,these were mostly in electrical goods,machine tools,chemicals and textiles.
