Salman Khan's 'Tubelight' is the big Eid release of this year but it failed to encash on it completely. After a lukewarm opening weekend,Eid yesterday was supposed to add bountiful to the tally but nothing of the sort happened.
By earning just Rs.19.09 crore on Monday, it only took the total box office collection to Rs 83.86 crore, which was not what was expected from the film.
While Trade was hopeful the film will make nearly Rs 80=85 crore in the first three days, Eid bounty will take the film to over Rs 100 crore. After all it was an extended weekend, but 'Tubelight' turned out to be a disappointment in that case.
Might be some magic can be seen in upcoming days, but it has disappointed the expectations of the investors.
