                  CBI  searches NDTV co-founder's homes


The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday launched searches on the residence of NDTV co-chairperson and other premises and registered a case against him and his wife,Radhika.

The case has been launched due to alleged causing a loss of rs 48 crores to ICICI bank.

Some executives at India's largest private bank are also accused of 'conniving' committing fraud and entering into a conspiracy with NDTV promoters in facilitating transfer of ownership of a news broadcasting company to a "shell company"in violation of various  laws.

NDTV put out a statement 11 am on Monday,in which it said,"NDTV and its promoters will fight tirelessly against this witch-hunt.
