Farmer's strike boils over,long queues for milk in Indore

Violence escalated on the second day of the farmers strike with clashes reported at several places in Indore and in rest of the country on Friday.
Farmers dumped vegetables and slit milk on the roads even as milk lines stretched away to agony lengths in Indore and Ujjain.
A police officer was also injured in the violence.
With supply cut off,milk stocks were down to a trickle and sold at shocking rates of Rs 80 per litre in some parts.
Cut out of vegetables and milk,hotels and weddings scrambled to tweak from their menu.
Thursday,administrative and police officials were out in the field,using force to manage the protest that turned violent in certain parts.
