Presidential Election 2017: Rajnath,Venkaiah meet Sonia; Congress says can't support without any name
The ruling Bhartiya janta party(BJP) is trying its best to pick a consensus presidential candidate,met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in new Delhi today.
The meeting to decide on a name of a candidate who would replace President Pranab Mukherjee lasted 30 minutes.
The top BJP leaders are also likely to hold talks with CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury later in the day.
